Agroindustrial Serra Verde believes in the potential of the new Brazilian agricultural frontier opening up in the state of Roraima.
For 8 years (2013) the group has been carrying out livestock and agricultural activities in Roraima, currently with a herd of 4,500 head, its grain production has a projected area for the 2022 harvest of 10,300 ha of soybeans, 1,500 ha of corn and 1,500 ha of beans, these figures have made us the largest grain producer in the state since 2019, now we are ready to consolidate this work with the implementation of an industrial park that will add value to the soybeans produced in the state.
This is the latest chapter in a story that began in the 1970s, in the mid-western region of Santa Catarina, where the Falavinha Group was born.
Pig farming, the original activity, allowed the family group to move to Mato Grosso at the end of the 1980s. In 30 years of work, the investments in the Midwest, which began with livestock, have expanded to agriculture, with the production of soy, corn and cotton.
With an entrepreneurial vision, the group recently decided to enter the renewable fuels market as well. At the end of 2020, a corn ethanol plant began operating, in which Grupo Falavinha is one of the main partners.
